“Loki”

Once upon a time, there was a family of rainbow birds who had a large clutch of babies. Mama-bird became overwhelmed. The smallest baby was the only blue child, and for whatever reason, Mama and Dada decided that he was the one they’d forsake. So, at a very early age, Loki started handfeeding, though he didn’t like it. He came into a group of white-pied babies, standing stark as the only one growing blue feathers.

Loki can be particular about his cage mates. Perhaps it stems from being rejected by his parents? He hasn’t said. So, if you plan to have other parakeets in the same cage with Loki, a meet-and-greet is a must! Loki’s got a huge heart and just needs a little time to know he can trust you. Loki’s yellow feathers will intensify with age.
